The children and grandchildren of Charles D. Todd

Robert b. abt 1867
He is not found in his father's household in 1880; he would have been 13 years old, so he is presumed deceased.

Melissa V. (aka Malissa or Mellie) b. Mar 1868
m. Franklin R.C. Johns (Charlton Co. Marriages) b. abt Nov 1854
They are found in Bradford Co. FL in 1910 and 1920. Franklin does not appear to be related to Cuyler/Kyler Johns who was married to Agnes Todd (Mary Todd, Jacob Todd, Edward D. Todd)

Melissa's 1900 entry indicates that she was the mother of 3 children, and 2 were still living. Charles and Berrian were living in 1910, so it appears Jane died between 1900 and 1910.

  1. Charles B. b. Aug 1892
  2. Jane M. b. Jun 1892? also age 8 as Charles in 1900 census
  3. Berrian Silas b. abt 1907
Mary Eda b. Jul 1872, according to her 1900 census entry.
m. abt 1898 Robert O'Berry b. Jan 1874

Their daughter's death certificate indicates her parents as R.D. O'berry and Miss Mary Todd. In 1900, their household was the one before her father's.

Mary's 1910 entry indicates that she was the mother of 7 and 6 were still living. Remember that doesn't include the children born after 1910. Some of the children below may be duplicated.
  1. Sarah C. b. Feb 1899
  2. illegible son b. abt 1901; does not appear in 1920 Ware Co.

Calvin
b. abt 1852 Tattnall Co. He is not found after 1860 in census records, so nothing further is known about him.

Richard H. b. 10 Nov 1853 Tattnall Co., d. 7 Jun 1920 Charlton Co. Ga. (his death certificate)
He is buried at Sardis Cemetery in Charlton Co.

His death certificate indicates that his wife deserted him, so he was married at some point. He appears to have resided in Hillsborough Co. Fl in 1900 and Dade Co. Fl in 1910, before returning to Georgia in 1920. He was living with his sister, Arabella at the time of his death.

Laura b. abt 1856. She was in her stepfather's household in 1870. Beyond that, nothing further is known about her.
